The Incredible Trio combines the talents of:

Heather Arden Roy
Lead Female Vocals
Drums & Percussion
DJ Bongogirl

Heather began her musical career at the age of 14 with regular performances on CBC TV in Montreal. She has a five octave vocal range and sings in a dizzying array of styles and genres.

Her voice has been called "amazing, powerful, beautiful and incredible" as she sweeps effortlessly from sultry jazz, to crystal clear opera and celtic, then puts on her powerhouse vocals for rock and dance music.

Heather is also a dynamic percussionist - playing congas, bongos and latin percussion, to give The Royz Band a driving, energetic and unique sound.

Heather is also DJ Bongogirl - mixing and pumping the beat when the DJ system is in session.

Originally from Montréal, André began performing and touring with Quebec recording artists while still in his early teens.

André attended the music programs at both Vanier College and McGill University before being awarded a prestigious Canada Council grant to further his music study at the world-renowned Berklee College Of Music in Boston.

It was at Berklee that André was introduced to the 7-string guitar by one of his professors who recognized Andre's unique musicianship and became his mentor.

Now based in Toronto, André is one of Canada's few 7-string guitarists - and a crooning, grooving, rocking versatile vocalist.

As the musical arranger for the band, André's committment and dedication to every form of music has given The Royz Band a sound that will simultaneously create the perfect ambiance, inspire the music aficionados, get the ballroom dancers on their feet....... and totally rock the house.

André is completely bilingual in both French and English.

John Pagnotta
Flute, Tenor & Soprano Saxophones, Lead & Backing Vocals, Percussion

John's outstanding musical talent adds immeasurably to The Royz Band whether he is the third integral member of The Incredible Trio, or as the leader of the horn section with the larger band.

Born and raised in Toronto, John has worked professionally as a studio session player and has toured and performed with numerous bands and musicians in North America.

John is currently on faculty at the Claude Watson school of Performing Arts where he teaches Jazz Band, running class ensembles of 18 to 24 pieces. The Jazz Report credited the school's program as the "Top Jazz program in Canada"

John's depth of musicality is truly amazing as he switches from lead and harmony vocals to sax, flute & percussion, bringing passion and musical energy to every song and every genre.

John also speaks Italian fluently, and performs all lead Italian vocals for The Royz Band

Dear Heather & The Royz Band,

I just wanted to thank you soooo much for the most amazing music we could have dreamed of at our wedding!

EVERYONE was raving about your totally amazing voice and how you could sing anything from Alicia Keys to ACDC, and sounded even better than the originals:)

We are so happy we chose The Royz Band because you totally MADE our wedding. As I'm sure I mentioned we probably went out to see every band in Toronto but as soon as we heard you we just knew you were the ONLY choice for us. I just know that no other band could have played so much variety of music and been so much fun for everyone from our grandparents to our school friends. You are totally the best!

On a personal note I want to thank you so much for all your help during the planning process. I almost felt like you were my own personal wedding planner and I totally appreciate all the time you took to help me put everything together. I can't imagine how I would have done it without you.

I know I'll be seeing you a lot cause all our friends loved you so much that they'll all be booking you for their weddings. Jeff and I can't wait to dance to the Royz Band again.

Thanks again,

Alli & Jeff

Hi Heather ,
Thank you so much for the most amazing entertainment I could ever dream of! I knew you would do an awesome job, but you still surpassed any kind of expectations I could ever have!

The feedback has been nothing but raves and compliments about you guys! We are so honoured that you performed at our wedding.

Before signing off, I just want you to know that out of my many, many vendors, you were by far the most professional (not to mention organized, patient, creative, etc, etc.) out of all of them....... by a landslide. You were the fastest to respond to emails, and the best at offering different ideas to achieve our final vision. You were an absolute pleasure to work with.

I keep bragging about you guys to everyone!

Thanks again for everything! You helped make our wedding into a dream come true!

Sincerely,
Stacey & Sherwin Aguinaldo
